Bought to replace chair that had simply worn out, after a few weeks it definitly lives up to its eight-hour rating, not too fiddly to assemble, and the adjustable arm rests mean things no longer rub against the desk.

Have had this chair a while. Very supportive seat and back. Looks great in my home office. Quality is really good. Assembly was so easy. Could not recommend more highly.

I brought a previous version of the Enduro, but was all black (including base) and didn't have arm rests, in October 2020. It was a massive improvement on my old chair, which you would expect, given the old chair was only rated for 3 hours a day sitting time. I bought this one on the basis of it being rated for 8 hours a day and it certainly removed the constant pain I was getting in my upper legs from the old chair. It is very sturdy and quite comfortable. After about 2 years, however, the gas lift began to falter and the chair will just randomly start easing down. I purchased a replacement gas lift unit, but the base refuses to detach, despite me following instructions on the Officeworks video. In that video, the guy just gives the base of the gas lift one hit with a mallet and the chair base comes right off, but I went ape droppings on it for half an hour with a mallet and couldn't get it to budge a mm. Maddening! Did succeed in knocking off all the wheels though, which gave me the opportunity to clear them of accrued cat hair and give them a clean (even on a bamboo wood floor they really gathered up loose fur). So yeah, good chair, but the gas lift matter seems to be a common one, and it does leave you in a bit of a hole when you can't get the gas lift unit out to replace it.
