I bought the chair 2 years ago and find it is comforting. However, I find the height of the chair is a bit low. It was raised to a maximum height, but when I sat on it, it went down a few centimeters, when I stood up, it would go back to the original height. Not sure if this is by design or is faulty.

Having a similar Matrix chair at the office, what could go wrong with this one? Very uncomfortable, definitely not for 8 hours plus, perhaps 2 at a push. Unfortunately, I am unable to return it because I threw the packaging away. :( Wish I could exchange it for a more expensive chair.

I bought mine in Feb but had an issue and pago & officeworks organised a return. Then i ordered my replacement. This is my first Ergo /pago chair. i have had other 'office' chairs before. now i know its worth extra cost for ergo i also bought arms separately since i wasn't sure if i would need them for now im using without arm rest. The best way to use without arm rest is to position your chair and desk correctly and sit in the chair properly with your butt to back of seat. this way the chair supports you and won't need arm rest. but thats just a tip i read and have found true. I'm able to work longer hours and feel less fatigued because im sitting correctly. the chair has the functions/levers to position just right. you need those proper function so you can adjust perfect to you. The seat is little 'firm' however, if its too soft i think you would feel too relaxed and not focus. But honestly its not an issue. i really like this chair. its best for my entry level budget. For my home business any issues you have pago are prompt and helpful
